Coalition Government in Jammu and Kashmir is committed to provide quality education to the people of the State at their doorsteps. This was stated by Advisor to state Chief Minister, Mr. Mubarak Gul while reviewing the functioning of Education Department at a meeting of officers held in Jammu. Mr Gul said that the buildings of the colleges would be developed on modern lines with all basic facilities including playgrounds, computer and other scientific laboratories. It was informed in the meeting that 72 degree colleges are functioning in the State in which 64,000 students are pursuing their studies while 11 new more degree colleges would be opened in the State soon.
