CBI today handed over closure reports of 20 preliminary enquiries in the coal scam to Central Vigilance Commission, CVC. A Supreme Court bench headed by Justice R M Lodha had Friday last directed CBI to place the documents of all 20 cases before CVC. The court has asked CVC to give his suggestions whether the cases can be closed or CBI can go ahead with the filing of charge sheets in them.The corruption watchdog will have to file its report to the supreme court in four weeks.
