<span style="color: #212529;">Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi has said that production of raw coal in the country has been affected by the heavy rain during the South West Monsoon. In a written answer in the Rajya Sabha, he said the floods in the catchment areas of the country's largest domestic coal supplier, Coal India Limited and the Singareni Collieries, suffered a marginal dip in the coal production. He added that coal loading and transportation has also been affected by the rainfall during the season.</span><br />
