Coal IPO gets 9 % subscription in 1st hour of its opening

Coal India's initial public offer got subscribed 9 per cent in the first hour of its opening today. The issue, through which centre will be divesting 10 per cent of its stake is expected to mop up 15,000 crore rupees. The initial public offer of the world's largest coal producer is priced in the range of 225 to 245 rupees per share. The offer closes on 21st of this month. The public sector undertaking has decided to launch road shows in mega cities across the country to make aware people about its public offer.
