Coal India has made a profit of 10 thousand crore rupees till now in this financial year. Talking to news persons in Kolkata on Tuesday, the chairman of Coal India Mr. Partha Bhattacharya said that, there is slight short-fall in production of coal against its demands. But he expressed hope that after the disinvestment of its shares in the market, Coal India would make substantial profit. Mr. Bhattacharya said, the railways and the coal ministry are working hand in hand to increase the productivity of coal.
