Public Sector undertaking, Coal India has emerged as the largest recruiter at the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT- Kharagpur this year, officials sources informed today. The company made 31 job-offers this season. In the first phase of placements, 282 recruiters made 1,220 job offers of which the students accepted more than 1,100. <br/><br/>The Department of Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering of the IIT had the maximum number of placements with 155 students placed. Altogether 32 international offers were made by Google, Oracle, Deloitte, Microsoft, Toyota and VISA, among others. Apart from American firms, companies also recruited for ?postings in ?Japan and Taiwan.
