Both the Houses of Parliament have been adjourned on missing coal block files and fuel price hike till 2 PM. The Lok Sabha was first adjourned till noon following uproarious scenes on the hike in petrol and diesel prices. Some other issues were also taken up.Later when the house met again there was no change in the scene. Amidst uproarious scenes the house was adjourned till 2pm.
The Rajya Sabha first witnessed a 10-minute adjournment as BJP members demanded Prime Minister's statement on the missing coal files. After the adjournment when the house met the Prime Minister intervened saying goernment has nothing to hide and will provide all papers to the Supreme Court monitoring the case of coal block allocation issue.The Opposition was dissatisfied with the reply of the Prime Minister and amidst noisy scenes the presiding officer had to adjourn House till 2 p.m.
