CNG price hike: Delhi govt to examine possibility of roll back says CM designate Kejriwal

Delhi Chief minister designate Arvind Kejriwal has questioned the timing of the hike in CNG prices. Mr. Kejriwal said on twitter that he will examine the files to see if a roll back of the price hike is possible.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal is to be sworn in as Chief Minister of Delhi at the Ramlila grounds tommorow.

Mr. Kejriwal wrote on twitter that the timing of the CNG hike is suspect as it comes two days ahead of the swearing in of the Delhi government.

Compressed natural gas, CNG price in the national capital was hiked yesterday by 4 rupees 50 paisa per kg, the second increase in rates in three months. Also, the price of cooking gas piped to kitchens has been increased by 5 rupees 15 paisa per kg with effect from last midnight.
