Indraprastha Gas Limited, IGL has reduced the price of Compressed Natural Gas,CNG by 80 paise per kilogram in Delhi and 90 paise in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad. The new rates will come into effect from midnight tonight. With this now the consumer will have to pay 37 rupees 20 paise per kilogram in Delhi and 42 rupees 60 paise in its adjoining areas. The rate of Piped Natural Gas,PNG has also been reduced. In Delhi its rate has been cut by 70 paise per Standard Cubic Meter, SCM to 24 rupees 65 paise. While In Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, the rate has been reduced by 90 paise per SCM to 26 rupees 15 paise.The Company said, the revision in retail prices of CNG and domestic PNG has been effected after reduction in prices of domestically produced natural gas notified by the government yesterday.
