In Tamil Nadu, nominations have begun for the second day today. Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy filed his nomination from Edappadi in Salem District this afternoon. He is contesting from the constituency for the seventh time. DMK leader M.K.Stalin filed nominations from Kolathur, He is contesting elections for the ninth time. Six times he contested in Thousand lights and this is the third time he is contesting from Kolathur.   State Ministers Kadambur Raju,R.B.Udhayakumar are among the many contestants who filed their nominations. Fifty nine contestants filed their nominations on the first day.
