<span style="color: #222222;">On the second day of the ongoing Budget session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has informed the House that a meeting has been scheduled in New Delhi with the Union Home Minister and the two Chief Ministers of Assam and Meghalaya to discuss the agreements between the two States on the boundary issue.<br />''<br />''He further said that the meeting will be held on March 9, where the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two States will be discussed. He further said that the decade-old boundary dispute would finally be resolved in six out of the 12 areas of dispute between Assam and Meghalaya and added that other remaining areas will be taken up later.<br />''<br />''The Chief Minister further said that under the agreement, approximately 18 sq km area would fall under Meghalaya while another 18 sq km area would go to Assam out of the total 36.79 sq km of disputed areas in these six locations.</span><br />
