State Chief Ministers and Administrators of Union Territories have been asked to take immediate steps for safety of tourists. They have also been advised to ensure a friendly environment for the visitors round the clock. <br/><br/>Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma said this in reply to a question in the Lok Sabha today. Answering questions, he said, ensuring safe and honourable tourism is the Government's priority. <br/><br/>The Tourism Ministry presents pre-loaded SIM cards at New Delhi and Cochin Airports to foreign tourists arriving in India on e-Visa to provide them instant connectivity.
