Uttar Pradesh government has claimed that the Lucknow Chief Medical Officer Dr. BP Singh murder case has been solved with the arrest of three persons from Lucknow today. State Cabinet Secretary Shashank Shekhar Singh told media persons that the then Deputy CMO, Lucknow, Dr. YS Sachan, who was arrested in connection with the murder, had hatched the conspiracy to kill Dr. Singh. The Cabinet Secretary claimed that Special Task Force of state police has also recovered pistol and motor bikes allegedly used by the assailants from the arrested persons.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that Dr. Singh was shot dead by unidentified persons in posh Gomati Nagar area at his residence on the 2nd of April this year.
