Addressing a party meeting of Mizo National Front (MNF) at its headquarters at Aizawl yesterday Zoramthanga said that his government is in great exultation over the state being exempted from CAB and said this has been achieved with the collective efforts of the people, parties, NGOs and churches.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Today's ongoing strike was  called  by the student body Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP) to express solidarity with bandh call by  North East Students Organization (NESO) to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Bill. However, Chief Secretary Lalnunmawia Chuaungo had appealed to the student leaders to withdraw the strike call as the state will be exempted from CAB and also not to hamper the spirit of Christmas Eve and ongoing state games.</span>
