In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the government is firmly fighting against COVID-19 and the State is comparatively in a much better stage. The death toll has touched 3,423 with 67 fresh casualties in a day. According to the Health Department the positivity rate in the State was 4.7 per cent while the recovery rate was 74.25 per cent. The fatality rate for COVID-19 is decreased to  1.52 per cent in the State. Among the positive cases, there are 70 per cent males and 30 per cent females. <br />''<br />''Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad said 4,802 Corona patients were discharged within 24 hours and there  were 54,666 active cases in the State while the number of recovered patients have reached 1,67,543. According to official  reports the total number of COVID tests in the State has reached to 54,90,354.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">There are 27,364 positive asymptomatic patients in home isolation, which is over 50 per cent of the total active patients. Besides, there are 2,463 patients in private hospitals, 256 in semi paid facilities and rest in the government run COVID hospitals. Presently, in the State there are 16,462 containment zones spread over 14,75,000 houses.</span><br />
