Addressing a press conference after visiting Alibaug taluka that witnessed the maximum fury of cyclone 'Nisarga', the Chief Minister said this money is being given as emergency relief and should not be seen as some package.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Thackeray said officers have been directed to conduct the review of all the damages and file panchnamas at the earliest. He said financial aid will be sought from the Centre once the review is completed.  Mr. Thackeray said work is on to restore power supply and mobile communication, adding that the priority is to conduct house repairs considering the fact that monsoon is on the anvil.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Raigad's guardian minister Aditi Tatkare and district collector Nidhi Chaudhary briefed the CM about the post- cyclone situation. The state government had yesterday announced an ex-gratia relief of four lakh rupees for the kin of six people who lost their lives in cyclone-related incidents. The cyclone Nisarg that made landfall near Alibaug on Wednesday is believed to have destroyed crops on 8,000 hectares across the seven districts of Konkan region. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">According to initial reports, over one lakh trees have been uprooted while an equal number of houses have suffered some amount of structural damage. Thousands of electricity poles have collapsed while mobile towers have also suffered damage.</span><br />''
