<span style="color: #222222;">Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal reposed faith on the people of the state that they would strictly follow the second phase of lock down as well. Speaking to All India Radio the Chief Minister expressed gratitide to the  people for properly resonding to the Prime Minister's call of lock down.<br />'' <br />''Mr. Sonowal appealed people to perform all religious activities at home instead of going outside. He urged people to follow social distancing. Mr. Sonowal further said that he had already spoken to his various counterparts and requested them to take care of the Assamese people stranded in other states. Mr. Sonowal informed that the Assam government has also given financial help to students who are abroad. He appreciated the role of the various departments and staff for their round the clock service and also urged people to support and encourage them. Mr. Sonowal mentioned that the Assam government would continue to follow the  guidelines of the Centre on lock down.</span><br />
