In Manipur, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh presented progress report card of his government's achievements during the last four years and eight months in Imphal today. The report card titled 'Transforming Manipur', Inclusive Development under BJP led Government contains a brief account of the various works and initiatives taken up by the Government from 15 March 2017 to 15th November 2021.<br />'' <br />'' Addressing media persons at Chief Minister's Secretariat, Shri Biren said that his government has made all-round development of the State during the period. He said the State has been able to progress in many sectors with the support of Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The law and order situation had witnessed huge improvement in the past four years and eight months making progress on development works in the State, he said.<br />'' <br />'' The CM said that his government introduced School Fagathansi Mission and covered 60 schools under the mission which increased 25 percent students' enrollment in Government schools. Two hundred and thirty-seven schools spread across the State had been amalgamated to nearby schools having better infrastructure, better connectivity under the mission for overall improvement.<br />'' <br />'' The School Fagathansi Mission is an initiative launched by BJP led State government to improve the education sector in the State.<br />'' <br />'' Regarding water supply, the Chief Minister said that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the State Government is committed to providing functional household tap connections to 4.5 lakh households by March 2022. The household coverage of drinking water had increased from 5.7 percent to 51 percent within four and half years.<br />'' <br />'' In the health sector, Shri Biren said, under CMHT and Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), 8.09 lakhs beneficiaries had been enrolled and 1.1 lakh beneficiaries had received free treatment worth 123 crores rupees till last month. He informed that under Chief Minister's Health for All Scheme launched recently, door-to-door health screening have been conducted across the state for Primary Health Care and Chronic Disease Management.<br />'' <br />'' Regarding the Agriculture sector, the Chief Minister said, Manipur has conferred the prestigious Krishi Karman Award for the highest food grain production in 2017-18. Around 5.82 lakhs farmers are getting six thousand rupees per annum under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (PMKSNY). He said, under the Sub Mission of Agriculture Mechanization (SMAM),  971 individual farmers had been provided with subsidies for procurement of Farm Machinery, and 1.25 lakhs Soil Health Card had been distributed in the State.<br />'' <br />'' The Chief Minister further said that 37,500 hectares had been brought under organic cultivation. During 2014-15, there were only 345 hectares of area under organic farming in Manipur. Moreover, over rupees 67 crore worth of organic products under the brand "Organic Manipur" had been exported outside the State.<br />'' <br />'' Regarding connectivity, the Chief Minister said that helicopter service is now operational and new helipads had been constructed. The StartUp, StandUp, and various other welfare schemes had been introduced to provide financial assistance to hard-working youths. Manipur has created over one lakh jobs in the MSME sector and it is the highest in the whole North East.<br />''
