<span style="color: #222222;">Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin has urged the state Governor RN Ravi again to forward the Bill seeking exemption for the state from NEET for graduate medical courses. In a letter yesterday, he said the NEET issue is a matter of deep concern for the people of the State. He has termed the Bill passed unanimously by the state Assembly as an outcome of legislative consensus, stemming from the will of the people.<br />''<br />''Mr Stalin has stressed that, when the NEET Bill was sent back by the Governor to the Assembly, seeking certain clarifications and reconsideration, it was not viewed in an adversarial stand. He has explained that the issue was debated in the House in detail, clarified the points raised by the Governor and sent it back for forwarding the Bill for the Presidential assent.<br />''<br />''However, noting that the Bill is still kept pending in the Raj Bhavan, he has said it would be inappropriate for him to attend the tea party hosted yesterday at Raj Bhavan, saying, the collective will of the people and the Legislative Assembly have not been given its due regard.  <br />''<br />''However, he has expressed hope that the Governor will see the fairness of the request and forward the NEET Bill to the Centre without any further delay, thereby fulfilling the constitutional mandate.<br />''<br />''He has also said, when both the chief minister and the governor discharge the constitutional duties constructively, the State shall stand to benefit and continue to prosper.</span><br />
