<span style="color: #222222;">Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has sought the Centre's intervention in securing the early release of 41 fishermen from Tamil Nadu and Kerala, who have been recently apprehended by Indonesia and Seychelles. In a letter to External Affairs Minister Dr S.Jaishankar today, he has quoted reports saying, five fishermen from Tamil Nadu, along with three from Kerala in an Andaman-registered vessel were apprehended by the Indonesian Air and Sea Police on charges of trespassing into its territorial waters. He has also quoted fishermen associations saying, 33 others who set sail from Cochin harbour on the 22nd last month in three mechanized boats have been apprehended by Seychelles authorities on the 7th of this month. Mr Stalin has asked to secure the release of the fishermen and their boats from both countries.&nbsp;</span><br />
