<span style="color: #222222;">West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to review the present allocation of medical oxygen to the state amid rising&nbsp;</span>COVID-19 cases. In a letter written to the Prime Minister today, Ms Banerjee has stated that the daily consumption of medical oxygen in West Bengal has risen to 470 MT per day in the past 24 hours while the allocation remained at 308 MT per day. She sought for allocation of at least 550 MT of medical oxygen daily for the state. Expressing concern, the Chief Minister said that allocation of Medical Oxygen less than the requested amount may result in loss of lives of the patients in the state.<br />
