<span style="color: #222222;">The West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee has launched tree plantation drive in Kolkata on the occasion of World Environment Day today . </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Taking part in a programme organized by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation at South Kolkata this afternoon Ms. Banerjee said that large number of trees were damaged and uprooted during recent Cyclonic Storm AMPHAN in the State. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">To protect environment and greenery she called for massive community tree plantation. She said that 5 crore mangrove trees will be planted at Sundarbans as such trees were destroyed in the region. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Ms. Banerjee said that over 3 crore 50 lakhs trees will be planted at different parts of the State including Kolkata on the occasion of ensuing "Forest Week" slated to be held on 14th of next month.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
