CM Jai Ram Thakur thanks Centre for approving six new PSA oxygen plants for Himachal Pradesh

<span style="color: #222222;">Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has thanked the Union Government for approving six new PSA oxygen plants for the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, these plants would be set up at civil hospital, Palampur, zonal hospital Mandi, civil hospitals Rohru and Khaneri in Shimla district, Dr. Y.S Parmar government medical college and hospital Nahan and regional hospital Solan.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Minister said, these oxygen plants would ensure adequate oxygen supply to about 1400 beds in these health institutions.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Thakur said that Union Government has already sanctioned seven oxygen plants for the State being established at Dharamshala, Mandi, Shimla, Chamba, Nahan, Hamirpur and Tanda.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that out of these plants, oxygen production has started in Dharamshala, Mandi and Shimla plants whereas remaining plants would also be made functional at the earliest.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Minister said that once fully functional, these 13 oxygen plants would not only ensure adequate oxygen supply but also make Himachal Pradesh a surplus oxygen State.</span><br />''  <br />
