<span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde has said that the state government is making all possible efforts to provide reservation to the Maratha community as admissible by the law. Interacting with media representatives in Thane today, the Chief Minister made an emotional appeal to representatives of the Maratha community not to take extreme steps. Mr. Shinde said that the incidents of suicide of youth in the Maratha community are unfortunate and painful. A Maratha quota activist from Jalna had died by suicide on Thursday in Mumbai.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On this occasion, the Chief Minister also assured that the factual side regarding reservation will be effectively presented in the Supreme Court through the state government. The state government had filed a curative petition in the Supreme Court and it was accepted by the Supreme Court on October 13.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Maratha quota activists have threatened a renewed agitation starting on October 25 if the Maharashtra government does not meet the demands of the Maratha community.</span><br />
