Amidst reports about alleged irregularities committed by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit in awarding Commonwealth Games projects, the Delhi government on Wednesday said she did not favour any particular firm. Talking to reporters Delhi Chief Secretary P. K. Tripathi said that all due procedures were followed in awarding contracts. He said, reports alleging that the Chief Minister favoured a particular firm in the street-lighting project was totally wrong. He also said that Mrs. Dikshit never favoured any company to get contract as reported by media quoting CAG report. Earlier Mrs. Dikshit said that she will comment only after the report is tabled in Parliament.
