Close relatives contest against each other in Rajasthan assembly election

The Rajasthan assembly election is witnessing an interesting contest for four seats. In these constituencies, close relatives are contesting against each other.
''
''Akashvani correspondent report-
''
''Rita Chaudhary, a candidate of Haryana-based Jannayak Janta Party is contesting from Danta Ramgarh seat of Sikar district. She has been pitted against her husband Virendra Chaudhary, a sitting Congress MLA who has been fielded again by the ruling party. In the 2018 assembly election, Chaudhary had defeated his BJP rival. The Dholpur assembly seat is witnessing an interesting contest between two members of a family but there is a twist in the contest. Both the contesting candidates have now switched parties. In the 2018 assembly election, BJP's Shobharani Kushwah won the seat by defeating her brother-in-law Congress candidate Shivcharan Kushwah. Shobharani was expelled by the BJP last year and she joined the Congress. Now, her brother-in-law Shivcharan Kushwah is the BJP candidate. At Nagaur seat, ex-Congress MP Jyoti Mirdha is contesting as BJP candidate against her uncle Congress candidate Harendra Mirdha. At Jhunjhunu's Khetri seat, the contest is between BJP candidate Dharampal Gurjar and his niece Congress candidate Manisha.
