Clear stand on uniform civil code and triple talaq: Amit Shan to opposition

In Uttar Pradesh, the BJP president Amit Shah asked the opposition parties including Congress to clear their stand on the issues of uniform civil code and triple talaq. <br/><br/>Addressing a rally in Sonbhadra, Mr Shah said, BJP has a clear thought and stands firmly with the rights of women irrespective of their faith and religion. He leveled charges of deep rooted corruption in the rule of Samajwadi Party saying both uncle and nephew are busy in looting the State ignoring the development of the state. <br/><br/>He said, when BJP will come to power in UP, the goons who have occupied the lands of poor and weaker, will be sent to jail. Criticising BSP, Mr Shah said, when Mayawati was in power, she made statues of herself with the stones of Sonbhadra and plundered the State. <br/><br/>Attacking on Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, Mr Shah said, why Mr Gandhi did not raise the issue of OROP when Congress was in power. He claimed that it is BJP which fulfilled the genuine demand of our retired soldiers. <br/><br/>The BJP president later flagged off the third Parivartan Rath Yatra of BJP from Sonbhadra which will visit 71 constituencies of Varanasi and eastern UP region. Earlier, two Rath Yatras were flagged off from Saharanpur and Jhansi by Mr Shah. One more Rath Yatra is scheduled to be flagged off tomorrow from Ballia by Mr Shah.
