Clear stand on Telangana, KCR to TDP

The Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) President has demanded Telugu Desam Party to reveal its stand on Telangana issue even as the protest demonstrations are continuing in Rayalaseema and Coasta Andhra regions in favour of Unified State. <br/><br/>Addressing party workers after admitting TDP leaders from Adilabad district into party fold last evening, Chandrasekhara Rao alleged that TDP has backtracked from its earlier stand on Telangana. <br/><br/>Stating that the unified state agitation is being run from the TDP headquarters, Rao said that both Congress and TDP leaders are working together in Rayalaseema and Coasta Andhra Regions. <br/><br/>The TRS leader also claimed that Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram’s announcement on last December 9 was a clear indication that Telangana was being formed and whatever strategies that other leaders planned would fail.<br/><br/>On the other hand, the Praja Rajyam Party witnessed large scale desertions in Telangana districts included Medak and Khammam as its key leaders came down heavily on the party chief, Chiranjeevi for reversing his stand on Telangana<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Pradesh Congress President D Srinivas has appealed party men who are supporting Unified state, to withdraw the agitation and abide by the decision taken by the party High Command.<br/>
