In Yemen, reports say heavy clashes broke out between security forces and Al-Qaeda militants last night at the main entrance of the southern port city of Aden. A local army official said five al-Qaeda gunmen and a soldier were killed in the fighting. He said, three groups of Al-Qaeda militants carried out armed attacks that led to the violent clashes between the two sides. Heavy machine guns and artilleries were used during the clashes.
