Kolkata Knight Riders will clash with Perth Scorchers in a Group-A match of the Champions League Twenty-20 Cricket tournament at Durban in South Africa today. The match will begin at 9 PM.In the other Group-A match, scheduled for 5 PM, Auckland will take on Titans at the same venue.Last night, Chennai Super Kings conceded their second consecutive defeat after losing to Highveld Lions by 6 wickets in a Group-B match at Newlands in Cape Town. Put into bat, Chennai scored 158 for 6 in the stipulated 20 overs. Slow Left-Arm bowler, Aaron Phangiso bagged 2 wickets for Lions. For Chennai, Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni top scored with 34, while S. Badrinath's end-of-the innings cameo helped them cross the 150-mark. Chasing 159 for victory, Lions surpassed the target with 6 wickets in hand and just 3 balls to spare. Opener Gulam Bodi made a brilliant 64, anchoring Lions to register their second consecutive win of the tournament. Jean Symes also chipped in with a handy 39 not out. Phangiso was adjudged man of the match.Earlier, in the other Group-B fixture, Sydney Sixers also won their second match of the competition, beating Yorkshire by 8 wickets at the same venue.
