In Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, CJM, of Lucknow has refused to take cognisance of the charge sheet filed by the state police, in connection with the murder case of the Chief Medical Officer Dr BP Singh. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that in its charge sheet, police has said that Deputy CMO Dr. YS Sachan had hired shooters for killing Singh as he was asking for a cut in the money swindled-off the National Rural Health Mission funds.
