In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Judicial Magistrate Lucknow Rajesh Kumar Upadhyay has submitted its judicial probe report into the mysterious death of Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Y.S. Sachan in jail on 22nd June. Quoting sources, our Lucknow correspondent reports that the CJM has submitted his report yesterday to the District and Sessions Judge, District Magistrate and District Police Chief Lucknow. This report would likely to be submitted to the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court today.Dr. Sachan was found dead in a bathroom of Lucknow jail hospital on June 22. He was lying in pool of blood with a belt around his neck. According to postmortem report, the body had nine injuries of which eight were caused before death and one after death. The report also statd that the death was caused due to excessive bleeding. All opposition political parties of the state and family members of Dr. Sachan have demanded CBI probe into the case. Both National and Uttar Pradesh Human Rights Commissions and National Commission for Scheduled Casts have issued notices to the state government in this regard.
