Civil Defence got different importance in natural disaster: Kiren Rijiju

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju has said Civil Defence Service has got a different importance in natural disaster. He was speaking at the function of 'Umang-2015-excellence awards for learning' as a chief guest arranged by national civil defence college (NCDC), in Nagpur today.<br/><br/>In last fifteen months this organization has come in the limelight. We are thinking to give the training to civilians to face the natural calamity. There is a need of special training and basic knowledge to face the natural calamity he said. <br/><br/>Director General of National Civil Defence College in Nagpur O.P.Singh said that day by day population is increasing and because of globalization, natural disaster is also increasing in big ratio. So the Importance of this institution will increase. National disaster response force will control the natural disaster system. On the occasion 'Umang-2015-excellence award for learning' were distributed by the hands of Mr Kiren Rijiju.
