Civil Aviation Ministry has released a draft National Air Sports Policy for public feedback. The draft policy is available on the website of the Ministry. The policy covers sports like aerobatics, ballooning, drones, gliding and paragliding, micro lighting and paramotoring, skydiving, and vintage aircraft. The Ministry said, the vision is to make India one of the top air sports nations by 2030. The mission will provide a safe, affordable, accessible, enjoyable, and sustainable air sports ecosystem in India. An Air Sports Federation of India will be established as the apex governing body. The suggestions can be sent by 5 PM on 31st of this month.
