Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu asks airlines to lower fares on flights to & from flood-affected Kerala

<span style="color: #222222;">Civil Aviation and Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu has asked airlines to lower fares on flights to and from flood-affected Kerala. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He advised them to fix a cap of maximum fare around 10,000 rupees on longer routes and 8000 on shorter routes to and from the state and nearby airports. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In a tweet, the Minister said a round-the-clock control room has been set up by the DGCA for passenger related issues pertaining to refund of air tickets and flight schedules. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Prabhu has also appealed to industrialists, trade organisations, philanthrophists and export promotion councils to offer maximum help as the state has suffered massive damages. </span><br />
