Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia today inaugurated a direct flight from Kolhapur to Bengaluru. Now, the route Kolhapur has been connected with Hyderabad, Tirupati, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru. The flight on this route will be operated by IndiGo on a daily basis. On the occasion, Mr. Scindia said an investment of 245 crore rupees will be done for the construction of a new airport terminal in Kolhapur. Minister of State for Civil Aviation, General Dr. V. K. Singh was also present.<br />
