Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia chairs a meeting of Consultative Committee of Ministry of Civil Aviation in New Delhi

Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has said that Government has taken several initiatives to promote sustainable development in the aviation sector and reduce carbon emissions at Airports. Mr. Scindia today chaired the meeting of the Consultative Committee of the Ministry of Civil Aviation in New Delhi today. The subject of discussion was Greening Airports.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Scindia said that India's Aviation sector has experienced rapid growth in recent years. He said that India has 148 operational airports including 137 airports, two water aerodromes and nine heliports. During the meeting, he advised all operational brownfield airports and upcoming greenfield airports to work towards achieving carbon neutrality.</span><br />
