Civil Aviation Minister, Ajit Singh has appreciated the support of executive Pilots for keeping the interest of people foremost and not letting Air India falter during the difficult time. In a letter to all Executive Pilots of Air India, Mr. Singh said in the hour of crisis each one of them holds the key to achieving success in this fight for survival and revival and also to regaining the lost glory.

Reminding them of the intense competition in civil aviation sector, the Minister has reiterated the vulnerability of Air India to even slightest irresponsible and agitational act of one or other section of the employees which may lead to raising of eyebrows about utility and necessity of Air India.

Highlighting the approval of the Government for infusion of funds for Financial Restructuring Plan, Mr. Singh has said that the Government’s approval has come with conditions that specified benchmarks will be achieved in a time bound manner.
