Civic organizations come forward to lend their helping hands amid Covid crisis in West Bengal

<span style="color: #222222;">As more and more people are becoming affected by the COVID 19 pandemic in West Bengal, civic organizations have come forward to lend their helping hands to the distressed and the victims of the pandemic. Initiatives are being taken for providing Oxygen to the COVID positive patients who are yet to get a hospital bed or undergoing treatment at home.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Amidst the rising demand of oxygen for Covid patients, Kolkata has witnessed several initiatives from NGOs, Clubs and religious organizations. NGO Covid Care Network and Liver Foundation, with the help of the state health department started free of cost service of Oxygen on Wheels in Kolkata and suburbs. They are running across the city with two ambulances and 18 oxygen concentrators. Chetla Agrani, a club in South Kolkata also started door to door oxygen service with 20 oxygen concentrators for the covid patients in home isolation. Behala Gurdwara has started Oxygen parlour at their premises to help the patients till required or in case of serious patients, till hospital beds could be arranged. The city requires more organizations like these to come forward to help its dwellers in distress.</span><br />''
