Police investigating the Citibank fraud feel that the amount involved could be of the order of 200 crore rupees they issued a 'lookout' notice alerting airports to track the suspects involved in it.Police Commissioner S S Deswal told reporters that Shivraj Puri, Relationship Manager of Citibank who is believed to be the mastermind in the fraud, is said to have collected about 200 crore rupees from various individuals.Many of them are from industries in the National Capital Region and some from a leading automobile group, Police sources said.Citibank officials on Wednesday were believed to have told the Police that fraud could be of the order of 400 crore rupees.Puri allegedly routed the fund garnered from High Net worth Individuals (HNI) customers to stock market through brokerage firms like Religare Securities.
