The Central Industrial Security Force will organize the 65th All India Police Athletics Championship-2016 from 3rd to 7th September at Gachibowli in Hyderabad. <br/><br/>Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad this evening Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Additional Director General Dharmendra Kumar said over 40 teams with over 1200 athletes including 300 women athletes will be -taking part in about 44 athletic events. <br/><br/>Olympic medal winners P V Sndhu and other world champions have been invited to attend the event. Governor ESL Narasimhan will inaugurate the prestigious athletics meet while Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao will take part in the valedictory. <br/><br/>Stating that several national and international medal winners have begun their career with the All India police athletics meet, Mr Kumar said all paramilitary forces and all state police departments will be taking part in the event. HE further said the winners of this event will get entry to the national games to be held during November this year.
