A 24 – hour metro security helpline has been set up by the Central Industrial Security force,CISF, which is entrusted with the security of Delhi Metro. The centralized help line number 011-22185555 can be accessed by metro users to seek CISF assistance in any distress or emergency while travelling on the metro network in the National Capital Region.

AIR correspondent reports that the new helpline number will be the third for the assistance of metro commuters, as the Delhi Metro already operates two other such helplines.
