In Assam, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has ascertained the size of property owned by all the 16 officials accused in the multi-crore-rupee teachers’ appointment scam. The details of the assessment would be furnished before the Gauhati High Court on Tuesday. <br/> <br/>The court had earlier directed the investigation agency to confiscate the assets owned by the listed accused. <br/> <br/>The multi-crore rupee scam which came to the fore in 2007, unearthed siphoning off of several crore of rupees from 1989 to 2007 in Lakhimpur and Dhemaji districts.<br/>
