In Nepal, Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) police have arrested two Constituent Assembly members on charges of misusing and tampering with their diplomatic passports. AIR Kathmandu correspondent reports that Bishwanath Prasad Yadav of Madhesi People’s Right Forum and Gayatri Shah of Nepali Janata Dal were taken into police custody while emerging out of the Constituent Assembly building after the House Session was put off on Tuesday. The investigations began after two persons, using the passports of the lawmakers, were deported back by immigration officers at Abu Dhabi on way to Australia.
