The US Intelligence Agency, CIA has launched an internal review as to how a suicide bomber deceived security routines and killed its seven officers at a base in Afghanistan. The CIA Director Leon Panetta said in Washington that the attack will be avenged through aggressive counter terrorism operations.<br/><br/>Earlier the CIA had said that a Taliban bomber managed to penetrate the defences of a military base in Khost province, killing seven CIA officials in a suicide attack. The Taliban had claimed the responsibility of the attack saying that the attacker was an officer in the Afghan army.<br/><br/>However, the Afghan Defence Ministry denied the reports that an Afghan army officer was involved in the attack.<br/>
