Churchill Brothers have lifted their maiden Federation Cup football title. At Kochi last night, they out classed a formidable Sporting Clube de Goa 3-1 at the floodlit Nehru Stadium. Balwant Singh, Alesh Shivdas Sawant and Abdel Hamid Shabana scored for Churchil Brothers, while Victorino Fernandes scored the lone goal for Sporting De Goa.Churchill Brothers bagged a purse of 25 lakh rupees while Sporting Clube collected 15 lakh rupees.
