Snapping a two-day losing streak, gold rose 125 rupees, to 30,175 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, on Wednesday, on Christmas demand, coupled with a firm global trend. Silver gained 140 rupees, to 43,690 rupees per kilo, on increased offtake by industrial units. Silver coins held steady at 84,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces.
