In Dhaka, morning mass was held at the Holy Rosary Church in Tejgaon. Archbishop Bijoy D'cruze conducted the prayers at the church. The Archbishop called for peace, happiness and unity in the world.&nbsp; </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Church bore a festive look while a large number of people from all walks of life took part in the prayers held at 7 a.m. and again at 9 a.m. Despite restrictions imposed due to the ongoing COVID 19 situation, the Church witnessed a huge crowd on the occasion of Christmas on Saturday.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Other Churches in the city also reported similarly enthusiastic participation. Other parts of the country also observed Christmas with a happy and celebratory mood.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina greeted the Christian community on this occasion. President Hamid in his message said that Bangladesh is a country of communal harmony. He urged all to consolidate the long standing tradition of religious harmony.&nbsp; Prime Minister Hasina called for building a happy and prosperous Bangladesh by keeping the bonds of communal harmony intact.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Several hotels and commercial locations organised special events on this occasion to celebrate Christmas.</span>
