Today being All Souls day, Christians visit cemeteries to remember their loved ones who are no more. Special services for those who live in memory will be conducted throughout the day in churches across the State. In Chennai, special arrangements were made by the City Police in important cemeteries to facilitate people to pay their respects to the departed loved ones from morning. On this day, people light candles, pay floral tributes and offer a prayer at the cemetery. Some also offer preferred food of their departed loved ones next to their cemetery.
