In Turkey, five Turkish soldiers were killed on Monday night when a military helicopter crashed. According to a statement of the Turkish General Staff, the UH-1 helicopter crashed outside a village near Ankara during night flight training, killing all five soldiers onboard. Search-and-rescue teams found the wreckage several hours after communication with the helicopter was cut off. An investigation has been launched into the accident, the cause of which was not immediately known, the statement added.
